cuboid
The work is based on drawings in which I tried to deform the construction of cuboid as something rigid, strictly given and, except for the dimensions themselves, difficult to transfigure.
The work is also tied to an Erasmus internship in Istanbul, Turkey, where I was constantly confronted by the local bureaucratic apparatus for various reasons. Whether it was the processing of residence permits, fares, membership cards at school, or indeed anything, everything was always associated with a huge amount of consuming uncertainty and meaninglessness.
I then perceived the cuboid as a kind of starting point, an initial construction, which I tried to deconstruct and deform during the creation of the objects, but then return it to a form remotely similar to the original shape. It is a kind of metaphorical effort to find alternatives for possible functioning in such a tight and loose system as the current one.
